Gaya: In the district of Gaya, a farmer was trashed to death while working with his wife in the field on Sunday. The deceased aged 40 is identified as Siyasharan Yadav, hailed from Sikandarpur village. In a gruesome crime, a farmer was brutally beaten up and hanged to death and his wife being assaulted while she tried to protect her husband police said. The inquisition into the matter revealed that the couple had a feud with a neighbouring family for many years and she suspected their hand in the incident. The attackers were six in number. They severely assaulted Yadav and hung him from a tree using cloths, resulting in his death. Soni Devi, the wife of the deceased said that she had put an effort to fight and cried for help but nobody came to their rescue. In addition she also reported that she suffered blows and watched helplessly as the attackers killed her husband. Based on her statement Paraiya police has registered an FIR against the attackers said Sub-Divisional Police Officer Nagendra Singh. A search is on for the accused persons, he said.]]>
