Ahmedabad City, Gujarat: In a proactive step to improve urban mobility and public convenience, senior police and civic officials conducted a comprehensive inspection of key traffic junctions along Ahmedabad’s SG Highway on 24 June 2026. The initiative reflects the police department’s commitment to ensuring safer, faster, and more efficient travel for citizens.
The inspection was led by the State Director General of Police (DGP) and the Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner, who visited major congestion points, including Palladium Mall, Kargil Four Roads, and Vaishnodevi Circle. They were joined by the Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner and his team, highlighting strong coordination between the police and civic authorities.
During the visit, officials reviewed the existing traffic conditions and held detailed discussions on traffic diversions, road infrastructure improvements, and measures to streamline vehicle movement. The focus was on identifying practical solutions to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow along one of the city’s busiest corridors.
