Tamil Nadu, Tenkasi: With the continuous rains in the Tenkasi district, all water bodies such as ponds, lakes and dams have reached their full capacity, causing water to surround many residential areas in the district and damaging buildings in some places. The public is suffering. On the orders of the Tenkasi District Superintendent of Police, Mr. V.R. Srinivasan, the Tenkasi District Police have been tirelessly engaged in security work to ensure the safety of the public by shifting all the people living near the water bodies to places like wedding halls as a precaution, providing them with necessary food, removing fallen trees on the road as soon as possible to restore traffic, and rescuing people trapped in the flood in collaboration with the fire and rescue teams.
