Vijayanagaram: District SP Ms. M Deepika Patil IPS was cordially accompanied to the district police office on Thursday, January 20, by a courtesy call on women policewomen working in village and ward secretariats as part of the police department and recently issued orders by the state government to express their happiness. Ms. Tamanta said that they are ready to work in the police force as women policewomen and are proud to work in the police force as permanent employees.
They expressed happiness over the government treating them positively and issuing government orders. Speaking on the occasion, District SP M Deepika said, “There will be a training program for women police soon and everyone should be prepared for it.” The training is also said to be acceptable to all. She said women police would have uniforms to easily identify people at the field level. The uniform is also said to be different from what is currently being used by the police. They want to work effectively at the field level and provide information on unscrupulous activities to the relevant police officers. Similarly, District SP Ms. M Deepika IPS directed the women police to stand by the victims at the field level and take steps to ensure that they get speedy justice.
