Vijayanagaram: The District SP Ms. M Deepika IPS paid a surprise visit to Vijayanagaram on January 19/20 to monitor the curfew in the district. District SP Ms. M Deepika IPS paid a surprise visit to Balaji Junction in Vijayanagaram town and supervised night curfew and security arrangements. The security personnel were asked about the implementation of the curfew and were given various security instructions. Speaking on the occasion, District SP Ms. M Deepika IPS said the curfew would be enforced across the district from 11 pm to 5 am as per government orders. No one was allowed outside during the curfew, only for emergency services and medical needs. He said strict action should be taken against anyone who violated curfew rules or for being negligent in following COVID’s precautions.
To control the spread of the corona everyone was asked to wear a double mask, wear face shields, avoid going to crowded places and observe the physical distance between individuals. In the same way, hands should be washed frequently with sanitizer or soap. COVID said cases were being registered against shop owners for violating the rules and also for wandering around without wearing a mask. Everyone should recognize the impact of the COVID / Omicron virus and voluntarily take COVID precautions for the protection of themselves, their family members, and the public. During the 3rd Wave COVID, 50 cases have been registered so far against shops violating the COVID rules. Similarly, e-challans were imposed on 2,51,903 people without masks in public places, said district SP Ms. M Deepika IPS.
District SP was accompanied by Vijayanagaram DSP Mr. Anil Pulipati, Traffic DSP Mr. L Mohanarao, 2nd Urban CI CH, Mr. Laxman Rao, SIs Mr. Durga Prasad, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Mr. Rajesh, Mr. Damodar, RSI Mr. Ramesh, and other police officers and staff.
