Meghalaya: This is to inform the general public that the Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing a scheme called “Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) to deal with Cyber Crimes in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. The ministry has developed a national Cyber-Crime reporting portal having the link/URL www.cybercrime.gov.in for ease of filing of complaints related to cybercrimes with a special focus on cybercrimes against women and children.
An AI-based chatbot is also available to help and assist citizens in filing complaints on the portal. Further, a toll-free helpline 155260 has been made operational in all States and Union Territories to assist citizens. Therefore the general public may avail of these services launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for any cybercrime-related matters.
