Udupi, Karnataka: In a firm action against habitual offenders, the Kundapur Rural Police Station have arrested a history-sheeter following the cancellation of his bail by the Hon’ble Court.
The accused, Abubakkar (48), a resident of Gulwadi Village, is a known rowdy element and has been involved in multiple criminal cases. He was previously booked in Crime No. 74/2024 under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with sections of the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
Due to violation of bail conditions, the police moved the Hon’ble Court seeking cancellation of bail. Acting on the request, the Court cancelled the bail and issued a remand warrant against the accused.
Subsequently, the police apprehended the accused and produced him before the Court, which ordered judicial custody till 07.04.2026.
This action reflects the strict enforcement measures taken by the police to ensure compliance with legal provisions and to maintain law and order in the region.
