Srikakulam: Visakhapatnam Range DIG, Mr. S. Harikrishna IPS, has taken the initiative to make all the necessary arrangements for the upcoming tour of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, in Srikakulam district. The Chief Minister is scheduled to attend the port foundation laying program near Moolapeta in Santhabommali Mandal. As part of this, the DIG and the Srikakulam District SP inspected the security arrangements in the area on Sunday.
The officials visited the locations of the helipads arranged for the inauguration of Pailon in Moolapeta village and for reaching the meeting venue in Naupada village. They reviewed the security arrangements and advised the police officials to inspect the parking lots of vehicles and make appropriate arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. The police officials have been instructed to coordinate their duties without any traffic disruption, ensuring that the Chief Minister’s visit is successful.
During the visit, the officials took a comprehensive approach to review all aspects of security measures, including checking the areas for the possibility of any security threats, inspecting the helipads, and checking the parking arrangements. The officials have taken all the necessary steps to make sure that the Chief Minister’s visit goes smoothly without any untoward incidents.
The security personnel have been instructed to maintain vigilance throughout the visit, and additional personnel will be deployed to maintain law and order. The DIG has taken special measures to ensure the safety and security of the Chief Minister during his visit.
