Andhra Pradesh: Seven senior police officers from Andhra Pradesh have been promoted from non-cadre SP rank to the Indian Police Service (IPS) rank. Among those promoted are two women and five men, who were recently, granted IPS status by the Union Home Ministry.
Officers who received IPS status in the 2022 batch:
A. Ramadevi, B. Uma Maheshwar, J. Rammohana Rao, N. Sridevi Rao, and E.G. Ashok Kumar
Officers who received IPS rank in the 2023 batch:
K.G.V. Sarita and K. Emperor
These senior officers collectively expressed their gratitude to DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.
