Tirunelveli: A Social Justice Day Pledge ceremony was conducted at the Tirunelveli District Police Office, led by Superintendent of Police Mr. N. Silambarasan, IPS. The event was attended by District Additional Superintendent of Police (CWC) Shankar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DCRB) Pon. Ragu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Prohibition Enforcement Unit) Meenakshinathan, along with police officers and ministry staff.
During the ceremony, the following oath was taken: “I will uphold the principle of love for all living beings and live by the philosophy of ‘Yathum Ure Yaorumi Kalir.’ My actions will be guided by self-respect and rationality. I dedicate myself to the principles of equality, brotherhood, and justice. I will always honor humanity and pledge today to work towards building a society founded on social justice.”
The police officers and staff pledged their commitment to these principles.
