Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police, Vishvesh B. Sastry, IPS, conducted a surprise inspection at the Munneerpallam police station on the night of June 21, 2026. During the inspection, he examined the registers maintained at the station and reviewed the current status of registered cases, offering necessary instructions to the officers and police personnel. Subsequently, he personally inspected the vehicle checks being conducted by police officers in the jurisdictions of the Munneerpallam, Melaseval, and Suthamalli police stations. He ensured that motorists’ documents were being verified correctly and instructed the police personnel to carry out vehicle checks rigorously to maintain law and order.
