Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: Following the directives of Fire Department Director Aapash Kumar, I.P.S, and under the guidance of Tirunelveli Zonal Fire Officer Saravana Babu, a five-day special training program for firefighters was conducted from the 5th, overseen by District Fire Officer Vinoth. The training was led by retired Central Industrial Security Force soldier Michael.
During the program, firefighters were trained in rapid rope knotting techniques essential for rescue operations. Additionally, practical training was provided on using ropes to navigate between buildings during high-rise rescue missions in Vannarpet. A total of 45 firefighters from Tirunelveli and Tenkasi districts actively participated in this specialized training.
