Guwahati: In an operation conducted in Surjyadoy Nagar, Guwahati, the Special Task Force (STF) Assam successfully apprehended a notorious individual known for his involvement in drug peddling and a history of skilled thievery. The law enforcement officers seized a significant cache of illicit substances, which included 31 plastic vials, along with 2 boxes of tobacco totaling 58.5 grams of suspected heroin. Additionally, they discovered 3 empty vials, 2 and Rs.3,990 in cash.
Following this operation, an official First Information Report (FIR) has been duly filed at the Basistha Police Station, marking a significant step towards curbing illicit activities in the area. This comprehensive action underscores the dedication and efficiency of the STF Assam in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
