Mayiladuthurai: A training course is being given to all officers and police personnel on the introduction of three amendments by the Central Government namely Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha, and Bharatiya Sakshya Atiniyam contrary to Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Act, Indian Evidence Act. On (05.06.2024) at Mayiladuthurai Sub-Division under the supervision of Mr.P. Jayakumar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), training is being imparted to police officers and constables on law reform. Similarly, in Sirkazhi Sub-Division, police officers and police personnel are being trained under the supervision of Dr. K. Sivasankaran, Additional Superintendent of Police (Cyber Crime).
