Udupi: The Udupi District Police Employees Co-operative Society celebrated its tenth anniversary on September 1, 2024, at Basel Missionaries Hall in Udupi. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Singh, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, West Zone Mangalore. The program included a ceremony to honor the children of talented police personnel and national-level achievers. The event’s chief guest was Dr. Arun K, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Udupi District. Other dignitaries in attendance included Mr. S.T. Siddalingappa, President of the Association, Additional Superintendent of Police, and Mr. Parameshwara Hegade, Director of the Cooperative Society, along with Mr. Jayakar Shetty. Following the formal assembly, a cultural program was performed by police personnel and their children. The event saw participation from police officers, personnel from the district, and their families.
