Virudhunagar: In Virudhunagar, a staggering tally of 78,800 unregistered vehicles was apprehended during a meticulous vehicle inspection conducted under the supervision of Election Flying Squad Officer Andal and Special Sub-Inspector Tamilselvi. This rigorous operation unfolded at the Talavaipuram Puthur Lamp area near Rajapalayam in the Virudhunagar District. Among the seized vehicles was one belonging to Selvakumar, who was intercepted while en route to deposit money at a Tata Indicas ATM machine.
Upon discovering cash on Selvakumar’s two-wheeler, which he intended to deposit, authorities promptly intervened. The funds were subsequently delivered to District Collector Jay Pandi at the Rajapalayam District Collector’s office. This meticulous handling of the situation underscores the commitment of law enforcement to uphold transparency and security during the electoral process.
