Rajanna Sirisilla: SP Mr. Rahul Hegde, IPS who arranged a video conference with the police department on the issue of rowdyism, held a video conference with the police officers of the district on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said all the police stations in the district should keep a close watch on the movements of the rowdy-sheets. All the police stations in the district have inquired about the details of rowdy-sheets. He said control should be taken on the plunder and land grab. He said the gang files should be opened against them. The report should be made on those who have had long rowdy sheets.
Within all the police stations, From time to time, police officers are urged to pay attention to the way CCTV cameras work. He said a CCTV camera is the equivalent of a hundred policemen. He added that there should be no delay in arresting persons involved in various cases.
