Shad Nagar: With the effect of COVID -19, Corona lockdown the blood reserves at Blood banks have become very low. In a bid to help Thalassemia patients (specifically children), Dialysis, Cancer, Accident patients, ladies who are with insufficient blood, and other patients who are in need of blood regularly, with the guidelines of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Mr. V.C. Sajjanar IPS., along with the Indian Red Cross Society and Shadnagar Government hospital today jointly conducted a blood donation camp at Shadnagar Police Station limits.
Under the supervision of ACP Shadnagar, Mr. V. Surendar IPS and the volunteers donated 244 units of blood which were collected. Till yesterday 2235 units of blood were collected. A total of 2479 units’ blood has been collected in Cyberabad to date. Cyberabad Police has requested citizens who intend to donate blood to contact the following Contact Number: 7901125460.
