Gwalior: Superintendent of Police, Gwalior Mr. Amit Sanghi IPS received information from the informer on February 1 that a person smuggling illegal drugs is waiting for customers to batch illegal drugs near Mote Mahadev under Inderganj police station. On information, Superintendent of Police, Gwalior, Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Crime) Mr. Rajesh Dandotia and Additional Superintendent of Police City (West) Mr. Satyendra Singh Tomar, Crime Branch police station and Inderganj police station was sent to the place mentioned by the informer to nab the miscreant who smuggled illegal drugs.
Acting under the guidance of Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Mr. Ratnesh Tomar and Mr. Vijay Bhadauria and City Superintendent of Police Inderganj Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar IPS, the team of Crime Branch and Police Station Inderganj following the instructions of senior officers. Arriving at the place of the informer, a suspect was caught under siege. On search of the arrested person, white-colored polythene was found from his possession in which about 370 grams smack worth Rs.40 lakh was duly confiscated. The accused told during interrogation that he used to make puddings by bringing smack from Mainpuri. Strict inquiry is being done against the arrested accused under the NDPS Act at Inderganj police station and strictly related to smack.
