Coimbatore: District, On the basis of the complaint lodged at Karamadai Police Station on 9.5.2022 by the parents of a17 year old girl that their daughter was missing. Based on the complaint Police Inspector Mrs. Velankanni Udaya Rekha registered a case and conducted an investigation and it was revealed that Saravanakumar (25) from Velliyankadu area of Coimbatore district had abducted the girl and married her.
Therefore Saravanakumar (25) and Surya and Santosh Kumar, three persons who had helped to abduct and marry Ms. Achsirumi in this case, were arrested and remanded in judicial custody under the POSCO Act.
