Srinagar: As the Jammu and kashmir Police are continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police along with Civil authorities destroyed poppy cultivation at village Qalampora and Shadimarg area of Pulwama.
A police party from Police Station Rajpora headed by SHO of Rajpora Police Station along with Officers/officials of Revenue and excise department destroyed 12 kanals of illegal poppy cultivated land at village Qalampora and Shadimarg area of Rajpora Pulwama.
Accordingly, a case vide was registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station Rajpora and further investigation was initiated.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighborhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling and cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt strictly under law.
