A recent incident on 24th June 2023 unfolded on NH-65 road via Humanaba towards Maharashtra, where a group of individuals were caught red-handed transporting illegal cannabis in a car. The commendable actions of Mr. Suresh Hajjargi, PSI (Investigation), and his dedicated team member, Mr. Basavaraja, led to the successful confiscation of both the illicit cannabis and the vehicle involved.
Following the confiscation, a formal case has been registered against the accused individuals involved in this illicit activity. Such prompt action and adherence to the rule of law highlight the district police’s commitment to curbing criminal activities within Bidar.
