Earlier, security forces had also foiled a major infiltration bid, seizing a significant quantity of arms, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics in Poonch district.
Furthermore, on May 31, the Army and J&K Police apprehended three local terrorists in the Khari area of Poonch district while attempting to smuggle a large quantity of arms, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics from across the LoC. One of the infiltrators was hospitalized after sustaining a bullet injury, while the other two were captured. The seized items included various firearms, ammunition, grenades, an improvised explosive device (IED), and heroin.
