Kottayam: The concluding session of the District Police Annual Sports Meet, which is conducted every year to increase the efficiency of the police officers of the district and for physical and mental enjoyment, was held today at 5 pm at the Kottayam Police Parade Ground. The closing session was inaugurated by District Collector Mrs. V. Vigneswari IAS. District Police Chief K. Karthik IPS presided over the function and various DYSPs and other police officers of the district participated. The overall championship was won by the Pala sub-division. The District Collector also distributed prizes to the winners of the sports meet.
