Perambalur: District Superintendent of Police receives complaints directly from the public on Wednesday every week in Perambalur district and takes action. According to this, on (22.11.2023) Perambalur District Superintendent of Police Ms. S. Shyamla Devi led a special plea hearing camp at the District Police Office. Superintendent of Police who participated in this special petition camp received complaints directly from the public. Speaking to the petitioners, Perambalur District Superintendent of Police Mrs. S. Shyamla Devi assured that after hearing the complaint of the complainant, the complaint will be investigated and action will be taken immediately. Also, in this special petition camp, Additional Superintendent of Police, Prohibition Enforcement Division, Mr. C. Velumani and Deputy Superintendent of District Crime Division, Mr. R. Thangavel, and all the police stations and special division police in the district participated and received and investigated complaints. Through this special petition camp, 28 petitions have been received from the public and sent to the concerned police station for action. He also informed that a special petition hearing camp will be held every Wednesday at the district police office and the general public is requested to take advantage of this special camp and a bus has been arranged to go from Balakarai to the police office and back from the police office to the new bus station on behalf of the district police.
