Palakkad: In light of the Vadakkandara big light work project in Palakkad, meticulous traffic management arrangements will be implemented starting from 08.03.2024, spanning from 02:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This initiative aims to regulate traffic flow along the corridor stretching from Palakkad Mercy College to Melamuri Market, Vadakkandara, and Chunnamputhara. To ensure the effectiveness of these measures and minimize disruptions, the following detailed instructions are to be observed:

Vehicles traveling from Ottapalam towards Palakkad are urged to divert their route away from the Melamuri vicinity entirely. Instead, drivers are strongly advised to utilize the designated alternate routes, specifically the Maperamp Bypass or Pezhungara Bypass. These routes have been identified to facilitate smoother traffic movement and alleviate congestion during the specified period.

Motorists approaching from the Olavakode side are encouraged to opt for the Sekharipuram route via Puthyapalam, bypassing Chunnamputhara. By taking this alternative route, drivers can avoid potential traffic bottlenecks and ensure a more efficient commute while contributing to overall traffic management efforts.

Residents or commuters originating from key junctions such as Manjakulam Pallali, Noorani Junction, BOC Junction, and Chunnamputhara Junction are kindly requested to refrain from accessing Market Road on the north side during the stipulated time frame. This measure aims to prevent unnecessary congestion and maintain smoother traffic flow in the vicinity, enhancing safety for all road users.

By adhering to these comprehensive instructions and cooperating with the designated traffic management strategies, motorists can actively contribute to the successful execution of the Vadakkandara big light work project in Palakkad. Such collaborative efforts are vital in ensuring the efficient management of traffic and promoting safer travel experiences for everyone within the community.
