Srikakulam: Srikakulam District SP, Mr. K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, conducted an inspection of the Inter-District Boundary Paidibhimavaram Check Post, located under J.R. Puram Police Station, on Wednesday evening. During the inspection, he thoroughly examined vehicle movement on the national highway and reviewed traffic conditions.
Visit to J.R. Puram Circle Office:
At the circle office, the District SP reviewed the management of important records and the investigation of cases. He emphasized the importance of conducting vehicle checks every morning and evening as part of visible policing efforts to curb the smuggling of liquor and cannabis. He also stressed the need to promote road safety awareness, advising vehicle drivers to follow road safety regulations, and reminded that all two-wheeler drivers must wear helmets. The District SP was accompanied by DSP Vivekanand, CIs Avataram, Emainal Raju, and SSI Chiranjeevi.
