Kerala, Vythiri: Under the leadership of the Wayanad District Police, a short film screening and the distribution of study materials, sports equipment, and medical supplies were organized for distinguished guests. The event took place at Vythiri Sugandhagiri Vrindavan Government UP School on 14-02-2025 at 3 PM and was inaugurated by Pozhuthana Grama Panchayat President, Anas Rosna Steffi. Vythiri Inspector SHO C.R. Anilkumar presided over the function, while Kalpetta Sub Division DySP (In-Charge) K.K. Abdul Sharif delivered the keynote address.
During the program, study materials, sports equipment, walking sticks and crutches for persons with disabilities, wheelchairs for the physically challenged, water beds for the bedridden, and woolen blankets for the elderly were distributed. The short film “Kadakam”, produced by Kozhikode Rural Police, was screened at the event.
Kalpetta Range Forest Officer K. Hashif, Vrindavan GLP School Headmistress P.K. Rugmani, children’s literature writer Suma Pallippuram, Sub Inspectors Vimal Shaji and K.T. Sreekumar (DHQ, Kozhikode Rural)—who also served as the story and scriptwriter for Kadakam—extended their greetings. District Janamaithri Assistant Nodal Officer K.M. Sasidharan delivered the welcome address, while Vythiri Sub Inspector Santosh Mon expressed the vote of thanks.
