Wayanad, Kerala: The Police Department has announced a One-Time Settlement (Amnesty) Scheme for vehicle challans issued for traffic violations. Under this initiative, a 50% discount will be provided on all police challans issued up to 31-12-2024.
All pending e-challan fines, whether submitted to court or not, can be settled directly under this scheme. To facilitate this, special Adalat sessions will be conducted at designated traffic units in the district.
The Adalat will be held at Mananthavady and Bathery Traffic Units on 27-04-2026, and at Kalpetta Traffic Unit on 28-04-2026. Payments will be accepted only through digital modes such as UPI, credit cards, and debit cards.
