Telangana, Hyderabad: In a significant development highlighting Telangana’s excellence in policing, Director General of Police Shri Jitender, IPS, held an interactive session with Station House Officers (SHOs) across the state. The meeting aimed at motivating officers to continue their efficient service and build on the state’s recent achievement.

As per the India Justice Report 2025, Telangana has secured the first position in police rankings across the country — a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and consistent efforts of the state police force.

During the interaction, DGP Jitender commended the SHOs for their commitment and urged them to maintain high standards in policing, public service, and law enforcement. He emphasized the importance of community engagement, transparency, and swift response in maintaining public trust.

Additional DGP (Law & Order) Shri Mahesh M. Bhagwat also participated in the session, reinforcing the collective leadership’s commitment to strengthening grassroots-level policing and ensuring a people-friendly police system.

The event was seen as a morale booster and a recognition of the hard work put in by police personnel across Telangana.
