Wayanad, Kerala: A free health check-up camp and special privilege card distribution program was organized for police personnel and their families in Wayanad district on Friday, 16th May 2025. The initiative was a joint effort by the Wayanad District Police, Dr. Moopen’s Medical College, the Wayanad District Police Co-operative Society, and the Kerala Police Association.
The medical camp, held at the Dr. Moopen’s Medical College campus, was inaugurated by Wayanad District Police Chief, Shri Taposh Basumathari IPS. The distribution of privilege cards was formally launched by U. Basheer, Executive Trustee of Dr. Moopen’s Medical College. Bathery DySP K.K. Abdul Shareef presided over the event.

More than 200 participants availed the medical services offered at the camp. The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance access to quality healthcare for police personnel and their families by leveraging the medical infrastructure of Dr. Moopen’s Medical College.
