Wayanad, Kerala: In a decisive action against the sale of banned tobacco products, the District Anti-Narcotics Squad and Bathery Police arrested Abdul Gafoor (45) of Kondayangadan House, Manichira, Bathery.
During a joint inspection at Gandhi Junction on the evening of 07.10.2025, the police seized 28 packets of Hans, 53 packets of Cool Lip, and Rs.13,410 believed to be proceeds from illegal sales.
The operation, led by Bathery Station Sub-Inspector Raveendran, reflects the Wayanad Police’s continued commitment to curbing the sale of banned substances and protecting public health.
