Begusarai, Bihar, October 2025: In a major crackdown on illegal arms manufacturing, the Bihar Police dealt a significant blow to organized criminal activity by busting a clandestine mini-gun factory operating under the Sahebpur Kamal Police Station limits in Begusarai district.

Acting on credible intelligence, a police team launched a swift and coordinated operation that led to the arrest of three individuals actively involved in the illegal production of firearms. During the raid, police recovered a large cache of country-made pistols, live cartridges, and sophisticated weapon-manufacturing equipment, effectively dismantling the illegal arms network.

District police officials confirmed that the operation was part of the department’s intensified efforts to curb the proliferation of illegal weapons and to ensure public safety in the region. The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated to trace the wider supply chain and identify other possible collaborators.

Senior officers praised the swift and decisive action of the police team, emphasizing that such operations reaffirm Bihar Police’s commitment to maintaining law and order and preventing criminal elements from threatening public peace.

“The success of this operation showcases our continued vigilance and dedication to uprooting illegal arms networks that endanger community safety,”* said a senior police official.

The Begusarai Police have intensified surveillance and intelligence gathering in vulnerable areas to prevent the resurgence of such unlawful activities.

“Bihar Police stands firm in its mission — ensuring a safe and secure society, free from the menace of illegal weapons.”
