Wayanad, Kerala: The District Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions on Friday, 05.12.2025, in connection with tree-felling activities at Thamarassery Pass, prioritizing commuter safety and smooth traffic management.
As per the arrangements, all vehicles heading towards Kozhikode — except public transport buses — must divert via Kuttiadi Pass. Route changes for vehicles approaching from different locations are as follows:
🔹 From Bathery side – via Panamaram – 4th Mile – Korom
🔹 From Meenangadi side – via Pachilakkad – Panamaram – 4th Mile
🔹 From Kalpetta side – via Panamaram – 4th Mile
🔹 From Vythiri side – via Padinjarathara – Vellamunda
🔹 From Vaduvanchal side – via Nadukani Pass
The District Police Chief requested the public to cooperate with the traffic control measures to ensure safety and prevent congestion while essential maintenance works are carried out.
