Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: Welcoming the New Year 2026, Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police Sri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of the district and expressed hope that all their goals and aspirations would be fulfilled in the coming year.
In a message released on Wednesday, the District SP appealed to the public to celebrate the New Year responsibly and peacefully, strictly adhering to rules and regulations. He urged citizens to avoid any activities that could disturb public peace or cause inconvenience to others.
Emphasizing public safety, the SP advised people to refrain from drunk driving, noise pollution, and unruly behavior in public places, and encouraged families to celebrate the New Year in a safe and harmonious manner.
He stated that the district police have made comprehensive and robust security arrangements to ensure peace and order during the celebrations and requested the public’s full cooperation in maintaining a calm and joyful atmosphere.
