Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: The Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka visited the Chikkamagaluru District Police Office today and paid a courtesy call. During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister reviewed the functioning of the AI-powered Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) and appreciated the effective use of advanced technology in policing. He instructed officials to further expand the scope of the ICCC across the district to strengthen monitoring, emergency response and public safety.
On the occasion, the Hon’ble Home Minister congratulated Shri Shivananda B.K., who was recently promoted as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), and formally placed the stars on his shoulders, encouraging him to continue his dedicated service to the public.
Shri Jitendra Kumar Daima, IPS, Superintendent of Police, along with other senior officers and police personnel, were present during the Hon’ble Minister’s visit. The visit boosted the morale of the district police and reinforced the government’s support for technology-driven, people-friendly policing.
