Chikkaballapur, Karnataka: Gauribidanur City Police conducted a road safety awareness program for autorickshaw drivers by calling them to the police station and verifying their vehicle and driver records. During the interaction, police emphasized the importance of carrying a valid driving licence and adhering to traffic regulations.
Drivers were instructed not to overspeed, avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, refrain from carrying passengers beyond the permitted limit, and strictly follow road safety rules. The awareness session aimed to promote responsible driving habits and enhance public safety on roads.
The initiative reflects the proactive efforts of the police to prevent accidents, improve traffic discipline, and create a safer travel environment for both drivers and passengers.
