Imphal East, Manipur: In recognition of outstanding police work, the Director General of Police, Manipur, Mukesh Singh, visited the Imphal East District Police Headquarters and congratulated officers and personnel who participated in a recent successful operation that led to the recovery of a large cache of looted arms and ammunition.
During the visit, the DGP interacted with the officers and personnel involved in the operation and commended them for their courage, dedication, and professionalism. He praised the team for their coordinated efforts, which resulted in the successful recovery of a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition, contributing to public safety and strengthening security in the region.
As a mark of appreciation for their exemplary performance, the DGP announced a cash reward of ₹1,00,000 for the team involved in the operation. He also approved the award of Good Service Marks (GS Marks) for the recommended personnel who took part in the mission.
The recognition highlights the commitment of the Manipur Police to maintaining law and order and acknowledges the exceptional efforts of officers who undertake challenging operations in the interest of public safety.
