Imphal East, Manipur: In a decisive step toward maintaining law and order, Manipur Police successfully arrested an armed accused on 03.12.2025 during a well-coordinated operation.
The arrested individual has been identified as Nongthombam Anilkumar Singh @ Lemba (36), a resident of Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai, Imphal East District. Acting on timely information, police personnel apprehended him at Kongba Sougrakpam Leirak, under the jurisdiction of Irilbung Police Station, Imphal East District.
During the arrest, police seized a 9 mm pistol with magazine, a mobile phone, and an Aadhaar card, preventing potential misuse of the weapon and safeguarding public security.
