Andhra Pradesh, Guntur: Guntur District Police seized a large consignment of red sandalwood concealed among paper bundles, arrested two suspects, and confiscated 49 logs valued at Rs.3.5 crore. The contraband was intended for illegal export to China. DGP Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, IPS, praised the Guntur District Police for their swift and effective action in apprehending the culprits.
