Thrissur: The incident involved the arrest of several individuals residing in Mala Valiaparam. The arrested individuals and their respective residences are as follows:
Shifas, son of Siraj, residing at Tiruthipurat House, Valiaparam, Mala.
Hadip, son of Najeep, residing at Kammalail House, Valiaparam, Mala.
Arshad, son of Naushad, residing at Chowvarakkaran House, Valiaparam, Mala.
Ashiq, son of Shabir, residing at Chowvarakkaran House, Mala, Pallipuram.
Shaibi, son of Shahjahan, residing at Parappilli House, Valiyaparam, Mala. Notably, Shaibi is also under suspicion in relation to the drug case.
The investigation was initiated based on undisclosed information received by Hon. District Police Chief Ms. Aishwarya Dongre IPS, leading to the involvement of the other accused persons. This inquiry was carried out through a WhatsApp group named “Yodhav.” The utilization of this platform played a pivotal role in facilitating communication and information sharing during the course of the investigation.
In order to apprehend the suspects and gather evidence, a collaborative effort was undertaken by various law enforcement personnel. This team consisted of Mala SHO Sajin Shashi, SI Maraya Suresh, Neil Hector, Chandrasekaran Dansaf SI Jayakrishnan, SI Shine, Suraj V Dev, Mithun R Krishna, and CPO Naveen Soni.
