Bidhannagar City, West Bengal: Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station conducted a Cyber Awareness Programme at Aliah University, focusing on the growing importance of cyber safety and responsible digital practices.
Shri Debraj Das, DCP, Bidhannagar, and Smt. Ipsita Dutta, ACP, DD-1, attended the programme and addressed the participants with valuable insights on cyber safety, awareness and prevention of cybercrime.
The officials highlighted the importance of staying vigilant while using digital platforms, recognising potential cyber threats and adopting safe online practices. Participants were encouraged to remain alert and promptly report suspicious cyber activities to the appropriate authorities.
The initiative reflects the commitment of Bidhannagar Police to strengthening cyber awareness among students and the wider community and promoting a safer and more responsible digital environment.
