Bilaspur: In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity within the community of Bilaspur District, Mr. Gopal Satpathy, the dedicated in-charge of Koni police station, was approached by the Jazbaa Foundation with a plea for assistance. Their request pertained to an urgent matter involving an 8-year-old girl grappling with the challenges of thalassemia, her life contingent upon receiving blood of the AB negative group.

Without hesitation, Mr. Satpathy rose to the occasion, embodying the true essence of altruism and selflessness. Recognizing the critical nature of the situation, he promptly volunteered to donate his own AB negative blood to fulfill the girl’s dire medical requirement. Through the cooperative efforts of all involved parties, including Ekta Blood Bank, Mr. Satpathy’s invaluable contribution ensured that the young girl received the life-saving transfusion she desperately needed.
