Mahabubnagar: District SP Mr. K. Narasimha emphasized that all religions oppose actions detrimental to the environment, highlighting the significance of nature worship in Indian culture. He underscored that the purpose behind festivals aligns with this ethos, advocating for the worship of earthen deities. The Mahabubnagar District SP extended his congratulations to the district’s populace and staff on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. In observance of the festival, he generously distributed 200 clay idols of Lord Ganesha at the district police headquarters and an additional 150 in Jadchara to the public and staff, free of charge, as a gesture towards environmental protection.
SP garu urged for practices that lead to pollution and inconvenience for the people to be set aside during Vinayaka Chavithi, giving precedence to environmental concerns. He affirmed that the police force is committed not only to safeguarding lives but also to taking a leading role in environmental preservation. Subsequently, he participated in the Ganapati Puja at the District Police Headquarters. The program was attended by Additional SP Ramulu, AR Additional SP Suresh Kumar, DSPs Mahesh, Ramana Reddy, Srinivasulu, CIs Saidulu, Praveen Kumar, Swami Garlu, SIs, and headquarters staff.
