New Delhi: The Delhi Police arrested three persons for the murder of a 19-year-old youth and the arrested were found to be the deceased boy’s friends. The Lok Nayak Hospital informed the police that a youth, Salman from New Jafrabad was admitted in the emergency ward after sustaining a gunshot injury on his left cheek. They were also told that one Hazi Imran admitted him in the hospital at 11.15 p.m. on April 13 where he was declared brought dead, the police said. On conducting the investigation, it was revealed that the victim, Salman,19 went to India Gate along with his two friends, Sohail and Aamir in his car. On their return while Salman was sitting at the wheel and Sohail was sitting next to him, took a country made gun and allegedly fired at Salman when they were near Ranjit Singh Flyover. At the time of the incident Aamir was sitting in the rear seat and was making a video on a mobile application, the police said. The police said, both the friends of Salman panicked when the bullet hit him. Sohail then drove the car to his relative’s place at Daryaganj and changed his bloodstained clothes there. Then Sohail’s relative, Imran took Salman to a hospital, then the three left the hospital. A case was registered following which three persons were arrested on Saturday by the police. The arrested are Sohail for firing the gun, Aamir for disposing of the weapon used in the crime and Shareef for disposing of the bloodstained clothes of the victim. The police said that the post-mortem will be conducted on Monday and that investigation is on to assess whether the bullet was fired accidentally or intentionally.]]>
