Kolkata: A person named Rajarshi Bhattacharya alias Babai claiming himself to be an IPS officer posted in NIA, has been arrested along with his associates by ARS DD. He had threatened the complainant of the case that there were many cases against him and if he wanted to save himself from the arrest, he must pay Rs.2 Lakh. When DD officers intercepted the fake IPS officer, he said, he was on a special secret mission and would only reveal that to a senior officer. But two questions from a senior lady officer were enough to break him and confess that he was not an IPS officer.
