Hyderabad: In anticipation of the upcoming TSLA elections scheduled for November 30th, 2023, today the Commissioner of Police in Hyderabad instructed senior female officers to engage with the women residing in areas associated with certain groups.
The assigned lady officers for zone-wise checks are as follows:
DCP Central Zone – Mrs. Pushpa, DCP, ICCC
DCP East Zone – Mrs. D Prasanna Laxmi, ACP, Women Safety
DCP North Zone – Mrs. Chandana Deepthi, IPS, DCP, NZ
DCP South Zone – Mrs. K. Shilpavali, IPS, DCP, CCS
DCP South West – Mrs. Nitika Pant, IPS, DCP, TF
DCP South East – Mrs. D. Kavita, DCP, Women Safety
DCP West Zone – Mrs. D Sunita Reddy, DCP, TSNAB
These lady officers are tasked with engaging in open and sincere conversations, urging residents to return home promptly after work and advising against lingering in public spaces until the conclusion of the elections. They are also encouraged to counsel the families of the individuals they interact with. In addition to these seven officers, zonal women SIs, along with armed forces, will accompany them during the interaction program. The sessions are scheduled for the early hours from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Today, these officers successfully conducted outreach to approximately 100 families.
