Chhattisgarh: During the COVID-19 pandemic the police personnel of Chhattisgarh performed extremely well as front line Corona Warriors. Taking the performance of the various police officers and staff into consideration the DGP Mr. DM Awasthi IPS decided to honor the police personnel who had performed during the pandemic. A decision was taken and about 500 officers, employees of Chhattisgarh Police were honored with Corona Warrior’s honor by DGP Mr. DM Awasthi IPS in a virtual meeting today. He said that the police not only handled law and order during the lockdown but also showed patience in difficult circumstances.
