<![CDATA[A four-year-old girl was raped inside her house by her 13-year-old neighbor in Noida’s Sarfabad on Monday, the police told on Tuesday. The accused was arrested following a complaint and has been sent to a correction home, they added. Her parents told the police that the accused entered their residence when the victim and her seven-year-old sister were alone at home. “He asked the elder sister to get him something from the market, and used the opportunity to rape the four-year-old and fled. When the elder sister and mother returned home, they found the child crying,” said Mr.Pankaj Pant, Station House Officer, Sector 49 police station. An FIR was registered on a complaint by the mother. The medical report has confirmed rape. “The boy was apprehended and produced in court on Tuesday. He confessed to the rape and has been sent to a correction home. He has been booked under Section 376, rape of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offenses Act. The girl is undergoing treatment,” Mr. Pant told.]]>
