<![CDATA[A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly supplying heroin in Delhi-NCR, the police told on Thursday. The accused was apprehended near a government hospital in Rohini with 200 gm of high-quality heroin worth Rs.1 crore in his possession, they told. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Mr. Rajneesh Gupta told that Vinod, a resident of Mangolpuri, was apprehended near Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital on Tuesday. “We received a tip-off on Tuesday regarding his presence near Rohini west metro station. A team comprising sub-inspector Amarjeet, head constables Yashveer and Yogesh, and constable Ravinder arrested Vinod,” Mr. Gupta told. During interrogation, Vinod told the police that he has been selling drugs for years and purchased them from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly to supply in the Capital.
